Despite of quite some negative reviews provided by other customers, I must say: I was very happy with the service I received from Hertz Gothenburg. Okay: to get to the location from Gothenburg Central Station with suitcases and everything was indeed quite a challenge like an obstacle run due to the roadworks. But once there, the staff was friendly and the car was ready. I ordered a mid-sized car and got a free upgrade to a larger car: a Volvo V70 AWD full options. It was a great car to drive into. It was clean inside and shiny on the outside. No pre-walkthrough about eventual existing damages on the car. Just refill the fuel-tank and park the car in the designated area. No after-walkthrough too because of a self-service key-drop (and the location’s closing time). It’s based on trust, I guess. No hassle. I like this. Simply wonderful! The only thing I missed was, I wanted to get explained about how the local congestion tax-mechanism works. It was listed in the rental contract, but some additional explanation from the staff would be nice.

We had a good experience with Hertz! Getting the car was easy and there weren't any unexpected fees, plus they had helpful software to document photos of any damage to the car beforehand. Staff was patient and kind, and our car was very clean and comfortable. As others have noted, the current construction means it was ~20 min walk from the main station around the exterior. The city is also busy with construction, so just make sure your driver is comfortable with city driving.

Auto di categoria superiore a quanto prenotato e in perfetto stato, tenuta in parcheggio coperto. Un po' difficile da raggiungere causa lavori in città ma non dipende da loro. Top!
