Paid for six nights, refused accommodation, dismissive and indifferent staff I prepaid for 7-13 September 2026 at Sky Hotel Malmo City for ECCV. I arrived a day late without notifying the hotel, believing I would pay for the missed night and keep the remaining five. At around 15:00 on 8 September, after landing in Copenhagen, I received notice that my entire stay had been cancelled. Neither the hotel nor Booking.com had sent me a warning beforehand that missing a specific deadline would cancel all six nights with the full payment retained. At reception, staff said the deadline was 13:00, my room had been resold, and the hotel was fully booked. They refused accommodation and any refund. I had to return to Copenhagen to find somewhere else. Tired and hungry, I spent over two hours trying to resolve this. After Booking.com requested a refund, hotel staff promised a decision within two days. Nobody replied. I returned on 12 September and was simply told the manager had refused. Staff were dismissive and indifferent. One told me the information was in the policies and I should have read them. I asked whether she expected me to read every word each time I booked, even if the policies were 10,000 words long. She said yes. I felt blamed and brushed off. The policy screen available in my Booking.com reservation says non-arrival requires full payment, but does not explain cancellation of all remaining nights or give the deadline cited by staff. I accept that I should have communicated my arrival plans. However, the lack of warning, cold treatment and broken promise to follow up were deeply disappointing. I never stayed overnight and had received no refund as of 14 September 2026. I would not book here again.

Så fina Sky apartman så fina sky apartman! Personal helpat mig med bagazhen så for jag problem med ryggen. Dom säga Pupa vi ska helpa. Rum så rena och fina! Jag komma her med mina fina collage kompis from Amerika Dr Zajken, Mirson from Alaska, Alen Piton from Sarajevo. Dom ville se min staden men dom vet inte jag bo in Lund

Great location, everything is accessible and not far from the train station. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a kettle and tea and coffee and sugar and glasses in the room. The only problem is the breakfast. For 17.50 euros, it's nothing special.
