I am finishing up an 8 day stay here at Frey’s Hotel and it was the best choice to have stayed here. The hotel staff is super nice and helpful, even helped us book a taxi for a middle-of-the-night departure to get to the airport since the Arlanda express nor the trains run at this time of night. The hotel is very near Stockholm’s central station so jumping on the metro or tram to go literally anywhere was a breeze. Breakfast was also excellent, several hot and cold options that cater to a variety of diets and tastes. Also, since my stay here was fairly lengthy, I enjoyed having the option to put the magnetic heart outside my door to skip housekeeping service since I didn’t really need it every single day. Overall, my experiences here were very positive and if I were ever in Stockholm again, this is the place I would choose to stay.

We had a comfortable room with a balcony on the 7th floor. We stayed 3 nights and loved the location. 20 plus minutes walk to old town and 2 blocks away is the pedestrian walkway with lots of clothes shopping. Express train to the airport is just across the street and an 18 minute trip! The bathroom was just ok, it has a small shower and small sink area for 2 people. It could use shelves for personal items. Very quiet at night and we slept well, overall, we recommend!

Cozy hotel within walking distance from Stockholm central station. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was nothing extraordinary but it was good and the apple juice actually tasted like apple juice. I find that at most hotels it tastes more like bland apple water. Although the layout of the breakfast buffet was a little confusing. The different breakfast items were spread out at different parts of the restaurant area instead of contained to one place. But Freys get major bonus points for the fact that we could safely store our luggage in their luggage room before check-in and after checkout.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights with my two children, aged 11 and 13; however, the oldest female staff member at breakfast was not very child-friendly—she scolded the children for taking two eggs and admonished them to take only one. Apart from that, the hotel was clean and nice.
