Our security deposit was charged without any documentation or prior notice.No walk-around inspection of the vehicle was done by the agency at handover, so there was no record of the car's condition at the start of the rental. When we asked why, the agent at the counter showed us a photo of damage we were supposedly responsible for. I had the photos I took before driving off on my phone, and they clearly showed the damage was already there. Only then was my deposit refunded. Five months later, I received an email asking me to provide information about that same damage, as if it could still be my responsibility. I replied right away and explained the situation. I have had no answer in three weeks. The agency is very quick to take money from your card without justification, but very slow to respond once it has to admit it was wrong.
