I rented a car from this dishonest/thieving office 1.5 years ago. I paid a deposit equal to the rental price of the car. Even though I returned the car undamaged and clean, they confiscated my deposit. I raised hell, wrote to Budget, but they only sent me my invoice and completely ignored the issue. The invoice was a total scam. Because my deposit was wrongfully extorted, this fraudulent branch had added some inflated items to the invoice. For example, although I never, ever bought extra insurance, they charged me for it. When I requested the signed contract for this, of course, they couldn't provide it. Furthermore, they deducted taxes like "airport tax" and "city tax" from my deposit, even though those were already openly included in the car rental price. This is plain theft. And of course, even though I drove the car on fully snowy roads in February, they added a fake cleaning fee claiming the car was "excessively dirty." Miraculously, when you add all of these up, it equaled the entire deposit I had paid. I ended up paying as much as if I had rented a car twice. Do not ever trust these thieves.
