I strongly recommend to avoid this place based on my own experience. I booked a car from the airport but was called later to change the location to their office in the city since the airport was closed. I agreed but still haven’t received my airport fee back upon request since I “chose to book it from the airport”. It’s weird that it was even possible to book a car from a closed rental office. Two weeks after returning the car they took an extra 700 SEK from my account without a letter, invoice or email to explain why. After calling I was only asked to email them. It was hinted to be regarding toll fees in Norway which I was promised would be sent to me directly by signing the car up on Norway’s toll website, which I did. The response to my later email was that I needed to contact the Norwegian website about the money that was taken from me from Avis, and that Avis was not at fault at all. The question about the airport fee was ignored until a follow up email which simply stated that I made my choice to book it from the airport, and that it didn’t matter if I agreed to pick it up in the city. All in all, no communication and about 1000 SEK in total fees that should not have occurred. I’m disappointed in their treatment and hope they will treat future customers far better.

The experience was very bad when a towing service was needed for getting the front driver wheel stuck in the snow. Wrong guidelines over the phone and very bad subsequent follow-up with an unfriendly and unprofessional Station Manager.
