Spent three weeks at The Lamp Hotel during a work assignment in Norrköping and can honestly say it was as good as being at home, if not better! The staff are what really make this place special. The ladies at reception were simply amazing, always smiling, great fun and genuinely lovely people who couldn't do enough for me. From last minute laundry, frequent booking changes/extensions, to making sure I kept the same room, they even took care of things I'd completely overlooked myself. Nothing was ever too much trouble and there was always a laugh along the way. Housekeeping were fantastic, everything fresh and spotless every day whilst always respecting privacy. The restaurant and bar team were an absolute pleasure too. Special mention to Oscar, a cocktail guru and genuinely great guy who even went out of his way to locally source a particular Swedish liqueur I admired. Something I really liked was seeing the chefs, restaurant and bar staff getting together before each shift, preparing for the evening ahead. You could just tell there's a real family atmosphere amongst the team and that carries through to how they treat their guests. Even the lobby playlist had my colleagues and me impressed! Unfortunately never got around to trying the spa, but that's definitely on the list when I'm back in a few weeks. It felt strange leaving after three weeks. It's rare to find a hotel where the people make you feel so genuinely welcome and looked after. Beautiful place, great atmosphere, but above all an incredible bunch of people. Credit to every single member of The Lamp team. Thank you for making my stay such a memorable one. Looking forward to coming back! 💚

Bodde här i tjänsten.
