Do not stay here.... If you have booked.... Cancel.... Our family was treated poorly by the very rude reception lady. We were screamed at when we queried the cost of patking and to top it off we were put in a basement room that smelt like wet carpet and smoke. Power point hanging from wall with exposed wiring. Many tiny rabbit Warren stairs to take your luggage up and down to the room. We do not recommend this place.

The reception staff were extremely disappointing and disrespectful. In particular, the Chinese lady working at the reception was rude and did not listen properly when I was trying to explain my situation. Instead of communicating calmly and helping, she became impatient, raised her voice, and then called someone else without properly addressing my concern. The way I was treated at the reception was very unprofessional and left a very bad impression. Hotel reception should be welcoming, respectful, and helpful, but unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.

Family friendly staff. The hotel was clean and staff were intentional with the guest needs. Homemade food for breakfast, lunch and dinner .

Our stay at the Scandic Södra Hotel was fantastic! The location is perfect and made getting around so easy. A special thanks to the lovely lady at the hotel who baked a beautiful birthday cake for my teammate. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious throughout our entire visit.
