Supermysigt litet hostel, sjukt bra service, man blir behandlad som att man lixom alltid har varit där. Det är kanske lite på den äldre sidan, men läget och personalen väger upp ALLA minus! Jag fick t.o.m erbjudande att byta rum till ett med bara en kvinna i, för att ha det lugnare. Jag erbjöds te och öronproppar och det var lixom en av de mysigaste vistelserna jag har haft! Allt ligger runt hörnet! Största plusset är lås på dörrar, väldigt lugnt och stillsamt samt female only rum ❤️

Since my boyfriend and I had to be in Stockholm just for one night, we decided to book a private room with shared bathroom at this hostel. This option was one of the less expensive and located conveniently close to the public transport. When we checked in we were quite surprised to find out that linen and towels were provided with an extra fee (~15€ for 2 people). I don’t think this is right considering the cost of the accommodation, that, for an hostel, is not cheap at all. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. When we mentioned that we had brought our own towels, he didn’t charge us for them, but kindly let us use the hostel towels anyway, as we were leaving early the next morning and ours wouldn’t have had time to dry before our trip. The hostel is located on a basement level, so you have to go downstairs to enter. There are no windows, which makes the whole place feel quite dark and stuffy, with very little natural light or fresh air. The room was small with no windows and when we arrived there was a stuffy smell. The bed was very comfortable and cozy, nonetheless. There were 4/5 wc’s and showers, and they were always free when we wanted to use them. The common areas were quite spacious and tidy. The hostel also has a washing machine and dryer that you can use for a cost (80sek). Overall, the spaces were clean but there is room to improve. Overall, it was fine for a one-night stay and the location was convenient, but I probably wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay due to the lack of windows and ventilation. I’m giving it 3/5 stars mainly because I think charging extra for bed linen, especially considering the price of the room, is unreasonable.

This hostel is really lovely. Everyone is very welcoming and the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are clean. I enjoyed the location in Stockholm. Bonus the showers are really great!

Super bien situé, á côté d'un métro. Le personnel est extrêmement agréable. Seul bémol c'est la taille des chambres, la valise doit rester à terre la nuit, et sur les lits la journée, mais ce n'est pas prévu pour un long sejour. Il y fait aussi très propre!

This place is the worst I've ever stayed in my life, I didn't have a fan in my room, I was made to take off my shoes, I never heard that! I don't recommend it, dirty place, old, smelly bathrooms! Horrible.

I stayed here in late June with two friends (17/18yrs) and we had a great experience! We stayed in the 3 bed private room. The staff were incredibly welcoming and we genuinely enjoyed every conversation and story. We even sat and watched a world cup match with Reza, one of the staff members, and had a great time (ask Reza for 2nd hand clothing store suggestions!) The entire place was very clean, and the toilets and showers were fully private and located in individual lockable rooms. The area is great as well and located next to a station. We recommend Svea Hostel to anybody making a trip to Stockholm!

The hostel is 20 min walking from T-Centralen station, it is clean and spacious and the holders are nice and very attentive. I highly appreciated my stay at Svea hostel.
