Visited during the Night of Museums and it was a unique experience. Because it is his actual final apartment, the spaces are very small, which meant it got quite crowded during the event. Still, it was completely worth it. Highlights: * The Upper Floor: His private library is housed up here and is incredibly nice. You can stand right by his actual writing desk, preserved as it was. * There is a room dedicated to his three wives (Siri von Essen, Frida Uhl, and Harriet Bosse). It gives context to his infamously complicated, dramatic, and controversial relationships with women, and it felt good to have them commemorated too. It was a tight squeeze on a busy night, but a fantastic glimpse into the life of a brilliant but intense writer. It's worth it if you're into Swedish literature and history, maybe even better outside the night of museums.

The visit exceeded my expectations, it is really worthwhile for people who study or just love theatre and know the name August Strindberg. Not just information but an experience. Especially in the author's apartment, it's almost like you will see him around. Excellent! 💯
