Best ‘free’ activity in Stockholm (yes it’s technically free but well worth a good tip at the end)! The weather was terrible but Alex made the tour so much fun that I didn’t mind being wet and freezing (he even lent me a Viking style cloak to keep me warm and ran back mid tour to grab a wool cloak for another person on our tour). And because it was rainy and cold some of the places we went to had too many patrons so Alex took us to a few other spots, including two underground bars. The tour was fun and interactive, from princess kidnapping to sword fighting. In fact we were having so much fun we didn’t realize our tour went over time but it didn’t even feel like it. I absolutely recommend this tour to everyone who visits Stockholm. It’s great for solo travelers, couples, and even families with kids (they would think it’s a blast!)

Easily the second greatest thing we've enjoyed in Stockholm, the first being the drinks and company with Alex after the tour. Alex is well-travelled and very enthusiastic about his tour and the history. Be a Viking and book this tour before he moves on!

There are so many reviews here, that I don’t think mine will make much of a difference. Alex is a terrific entertainer and really knows his shit. He’s genuine, knowledgeable and he really loves what he does. I’ve probably attended 100+ free walking tours throughout the years, and his is in my top five, easy! If you’re around Stockholm, give him a shot. You won’t regret it.
