Stora Skuggan is absolutely worth a special trip if you’re interested in fragrance. This Stockholm perfume house has created a line that is genuinely unlike most niche perfume: strange, lively, imaginative and extremely well made, with each fragrance having its own character and story. At 1,500 SEK for a 30 ml bottle, I also think the established line is remarkably well priced for the quality and originality. The studio itself is part perfume lab, part design object, and the entire operation is done in Stockholm, including composing and producing the fragrances, artwork and packaging There’s also the opportunity to make your own fragrance through their scent studio at the same address. You work through a library of 80 ingredients, create your own formula and leave with a 30 ml Eau de Parfum. Book this well in advance. Even if you’re not buying, go smell the whole collection. This is one of those places where the product, packaging and physical space all feel like they came from the same very particular imagination. Worth going out of your way for.

Excellent customer service! Thank you very much. And the fragrances are absolutely mesmerizing. My favorite is Silphium. But you have to try all of them. They also have a sample pack that allows you to try all of their incredible creations.

What a charming little store! This wonderful brand has the best little store and you can see a lab in the back where I assume they make their wonderful fragnances. If you like them then it is a wonderfully charming way to buy these.

Unique and beautiful scents. Emphasis on unique, maybe I have not tried enough perfumes in my life but all their perfumes feel like something I have not smelled before. Also very friendly employees <3
