Very kind owners, lots of variety in board games and the Mediterranean sandwich and chocolate cake were delicious!

Hidden gem of Götenborg! Whether you like simple or complicated boardgames, Offline Café has a really fine collection of the best boardgames. The owner is so nice and helpful and they have a nice range of snacks and drinks. We met another couple there with whom we could play Slay the Spire. We’ll definitely be coming back when we return to Götenborg.

Slightly limited game selection, and drinks/ snacks were disappointing. I’m hopeful this place improves over time.
Svar från Offline Café
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that Offline Café didn’t meet your expectations. We’ve only been open for 10 months, and we’re still growing our board game library. We currently have around 80 games and we’re adding new titles whenever we can. Games are a significant investment, so building a larger collection takes time, especially for a new independent café. As for our food and drinks, we’re a small café with a very limited kitchen, so an extensive menu simply isn’t possible. That said, we’ve worked hard to offer a good variety, including mocktails, ciders, low-alcohol beers, juices, soft drinks, sandwiches, desserts, and snacks. You’re absolutely entitled to your opinion, but saying that both our game selection and our food and drinks are “disappointing” feels unfair given the amount of effort we’ve put into creating the best experience we can within the space and resources we have. We’re a brand-new business that’s still growing, and we think that deserves a little perspective. We appreciate all feedback and will continue improving as we grow.

Came there and got a perfect explanation of how a game works and we could just add questions whenever we needed. Super helpful and really got the impression of two people with big hearts.

Great place to try different board games with your friends. You pay for entry (per person) and can each choose a snack that’s included in the price. It’s however a little rough to walk around if you’re tall since the ceiling/doorframes are very low.
