Jag va på svensexa i början av juli och då bodde vi på detta Nordic light. Jag strulade till det några gånger med bokningen men fick så otroligt bra hjälp av en i personalen via telefon och på plats. (Alina). Fast de va mitt fel så löste hon ett sån fint rum till oss och t.om en gåva på rummet. Tack för en bra vistelse och helg.

Overall, we really liked the Nordic Light Hotel. One of the best things about it is the location. It is right next to Stockholm Central Station, and the Arlanda Express is only about a two minute walk away, which made getting to and from the airport incredibly easy. The hotel is also close to restaurants, bars, shops, attractions, and just about everything else, so we were able to walk almost everywhere. The area also felt very safe, even when we were walking around later at night, which was a big plus for us. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. When we mentioned that the mattress was a little too firm, they brought us extra cushioning to make it softer, which we really appreciated. The duvets were warm and comfortable, and the room had a safe, plenty of drawer and hanging space, lots of places to hang towels, and even an iron and ironing board, which was very convenient. The biggest issue for us was the curtains. They were not blackout curtains, and there were also large gaps on the sides that let in a huge amount of sunlight very early in the morning. We actually had to tape the sides of the curtains just so we could sleep until around 7:00 a.m. Even after doing that, the room was still very bright because the curtains themselves did not block much light. The bathroom setup was also a little unusual because there was no real separator between the shower and the rest of the bathroom floor, so water went everywhere when showering. That was manageable with towels, but the bigger concern was cleanliness. The bathroom did not feel very clean, and there was quite a bit of built up grime in the shower. I took photos that I’ll be posting with the review. The sheets appeared clean, although they had a strange smell that I couldn’t quite identify. Housekeeping seemed to straighten and rearrange things, but it did not really feel like the room or bathroom was being thoroughly cleaned. It is a really nice hotel with an excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable bedding, and great storage. We enjoyed our stay overall, but it could definitely use better upkeep and more attention to cleaning. With improved housekeeping and proper blackout curtains, it could be a really great hotel.
