The hotel breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed it a lot every day. Also the location was great as I could walk wherever I needed quite easily. I booked Classic Queen Room and white the space was sufficient for short space, it was quite dark in there with small windows and dark walls and had weird bathroom setup - no curtains and glass walls. There is small privacy screen, however it’s not comfortable unless you’re staying alone or with a partner. My main complaint was the room temperature- it was quite cold in the middle of October and the radiator was lukewarm. The First Lady from reception that I spoke too was claiming that it just takes a while to fully heat, however this was not true. When I spoke with the other lads I was told that it’s the heating is not working yet and it’s the owner of the building deciding when to switch it on and I was offered small electric radiator. Overall it was quite cold in there and I got sick because of it so I wouldn’t recommend staying during that time. I also didn’t see any AC so you should be careful booking in summer if it gets warmer. The beds were quite soft and I didn’t had the best rest either so overall while breakfast and location are great, I will probably look for another hotel the next time I’m staying in Stockholm. It was very expensive for what it was and I came home tired and sick.

I really enjoyed my room, and the atmosphere of the hotel in general. Overall clean. The breakfast had something for any taste, very abundant and tasty. Very friendly and helpful ladies at the reception. It is well connected through subway lines 17, 18 and 19 to the city center. I am very happy with my choice. Price wise, at the time of booking, everything was very expensive (200+euros/night). I think Nofo was positioned well.

Stockholms weekend

Mysigt hotell dock väldigt lyhört. Frukosten var en mardröm, alldeles för mycket människor på en oerhört trång yta. Kändes bara stressigt! 😣

APPALLING. I booked directly with NOFO for two nights in September 2026, paying 6,828 SEK (more than £500) for a “Superior Double”. On its website, NOFO describes its Standard Double as being “up to 22 sqm”, and its Superior Double (for “anyone who craves a bit more space”) as being “up to 25 sqm”. It was on that basis that I decided to fork out that bit more, and booked a Superior Double. As soon as I entered the room, however, it struck me as pokey, cramped and claustrophobic (see photo attached). I measured up and found the room to come in at just 16.5 sqm (see my floor plan attached). NOFO has since maintained it's 18 sqm, but subsequently acknowledged that NOFO hadn't actually measured the room itself: its figure came from the property owner. When I provided NOFO with my dimensioned floor plan, it didn't identify any of my measurements as being incorrect. Either way, even on NOFO's own figure, the room is substantially smaller than the advertised “up to 22 sqm” of its Standard Doubles! Unbelievably, in response to my complaint, NOFO — and its CEO, Alexander Alkesten — have doubled down. NOFO says it “stand[s] by the room category and the way its size is presented on our website”: in other words, it stands by marketing and selling this 18 sqm (I say 16.5 sqm) room as an “up to 25 sqm” Superior Double. Defending the indefensible. I checked out rather than spend a second night there. If you're thinking of paying extra for a Superior Double because you “crave a bit more space”, I strongly suggest asking NOFO for the actual floor area of the particular room you're going to get before you book. And don’t accept room 207. Maybe next year, I’ll take my chances with their 10 sqm Presidential Suite.
