Save yourself and live somewhere else, it’s disappointing that the university partners with Nivika. The company doesn’t care about the students, only making money (in mine and many others opinion) you will most likely not get your deposit back even if you leave the place nicer then when you first got it. Only live here if you must :)

I am a tenant and unfortunately my experience with this housing company has been consistently disappointing from the beginning. When I moved in, multiple items in the apartment were already broken and required follow-up, which created a poor first impression. In addition, I discovered a mouse in the apartment during my first week, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. In the shared laundry room, the dryers are heavily clogged with dirt and lint, and several of them are unusable. This is not only unhygienic but also a potential fire hazard, and it does not appear to be properly maintained. Recently, I lost my keys and was locked out of my apartment. Because I did not have my physical ID with me, staff refused to help me access my own home. They also did not accept any alternative verification (not even through the police), and there was no emergency solution available — no spare key system, no locksmith arrangement, and no after-hours support. What is most concerning is not just the strict ID requirement, but the complete lack of any backup procedure. This means that in a real-life situation, tenants can be left without access to their own apartment with no help at all. In my case, I had to book a hotel for the night — otherwise I would have had no place to stay. In addition, it is extremely difficult to get in contact with the company. They mainly communicate via email, rarely answer the phone number they provide, and their physical office is consistently closed. This makes it very hard to get timely help when issues arise. The staff response was dismissive and lacked basic empathy or willingness to help. Instead of trying to find any kind of solution, the response was rigid and unhelpful, which added to the frustration of an already stressful situation. Unfortunately, this reflects a broader pattern of unhelpful and inflexible treatment I have experienced from this landlord. I would strongly recommend future tenants to carefully ask about their support procedures and accessibility before signing a contract. A housing provider should have basic systems in place for emergencies — this one does not.

Living Experience at Nivika: Highly Recommended From the moment we inquired about Nivika - Centralvägen, Jönköping we were treated with exceptional care and professionalism. Elinor, our main point of contact, was simply fantastic. Her warm and welcoming demeanour made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was consistently easy to work with, providing us with clear, detailed instructions on how to move forward. Every time we had a question, she was incredibly prompt in her responses, addressing all of our concerns with patience and understanding. As for the complex itself, it exceeded our expectations. Nestled in a peaceful and serene neighbourhood, it offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Despite its calm surroundings, it is just a short distance from Jönköping's main shopping centre, several grocery stores, and the nearest hospital. The complex itself is spacious, meticulously maintained, and thoughtfully designed for ease of living. From running daily errands to simply enjoying our time at home, we found everything to be incredibly convenient. All of these benefits come at a very reasonable and competitive price, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Nivika - Centralvägen, Jönköping, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and well-located place to live.

Fick snabb kontakt med personal vid inflytt när jag hade frågor. Snabb, trevlig och bra service på ärenden. Kan inte svara på hur det går vid utflytt, men är nöjd med bemötandet och lägenheten än så länge. Uppdatering: Som hyresvärd tycker jag Nivika är okej men inte bra. Dessvärre gillar jag inte lägenheten på Kungsängen. Hör exakt varenda fotsteg min granne över mig tar, alltid något kallt i temperatur trots justeringar, tvättstuga som inte är i OK skick osv.👎 Detta är nya lägenheter och byggnader också till hutlösa kostnader. Finns nog bättre alternativ.
