If you consider owning a yacht with navigare, I can share my experience. The company seemes to operate as some kind of franchise. Once the salesoffice in Sweden signs the contract they refere you to the local country and the ”countrymanager.” All promises the head of sales Björn Harkell has done before signing are not valid anymore and in our case we ha to deal with the contrymanager in Greece, Apostolos Papastathopoulos. You have to chase the countrymanager to repair the yacht during your ownership. We thought that navigare maybe saved on the repairs until the handover, but then the real nightmare started. The contract clearly stipulates how the handover should be done, but nothing was done. Head of sales and conceige refered everything to the countrymanager which rarely even responded. The surveyor was refused to inspect the yacht. When we didnt accepted the yacht as it was with lists of repairs Apostolos started sending harbourbills. In the end the handover which was suppose to take 1-2 months according to contract took us 1,5 years in order to get the surveys and repairs stipulated. Some repairs were porly done and we had to redo them. Apostolos demanded us to take down some for him not so profitable reviews from the net in order to hand us the original docs for the yacht. About the navigare charterbase in Greece I can write a novel. I have earlier owned a charteryacht with Sunsail in Croatia, and the contracts was almost identical on the paper, but the experience had no similarities. Sunsail did exactly what was written, navigare didnt care at all about what was in the contract.

Thank you for this feedback, and we are truly sorry. As a Navigare yacht owner, you are a valued partner and the experience you describe falls far short of what that relationship demands. You deserve a proper conversation about this. We will reach out shortly to discuss further.
