Our holiday in Sweden took a very unexpected turn when our motorhome broke down — but thanks to Johnny and the team at Fiddes Bilservice, a difficult situation became a surprisingly positive memory. From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly, helpful and incredibly welcoming. They did everything possible to assist us with the motorhome and showed a level of patience and personal care that went far beyond what we would normally expect from a workshop. Things became even more complicated when our camper had to remain with them much longer than originally expected. Throughout all of this, Johnny and his team continued to help us with patience, good humour and genuine hospitality. So, despite the breakdown and our completely unplanned stay in Östra Ljungby, meeting Johnny and his team was a real pleasure and definitely one of the positive parts of our Swedish adventure. Hopefully our next journey through Sweden will include more kilometres on the road and fewer hours at a workshop! But whenever we pass Östra Ljungby again, we will certainly stop by and say hello — hopefully arriving under our own power rather than on a tow truck! 😄 Many thanks again to Johnny and the entire team for the excellent service, kindness and true Swedish hospitality.
