Large selection of licorice products. The staff was wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable, offering tastings and great recommendations. Shoutout to Signe från den här tysk som har övat sig på svenska medan han handlade 😅 I'll definitely be back on my next Göteborg visit!

A wonderful specialty candy shop in the city center, especially for licorice lovers. The licorice candies are beautifully made, creative, and visually delightful — you can tell a lot of care goes into them. The flavors are distinctive and well crafted, ranging from classic to more surprising combinations. It’s the kind of place you can’t walk past without stopping to take a look. A must-visit if you’re curious about Nordic licorice or looking for something uniquely Swedish.

Großartige Lakritz und sehr nette Bedienung. Ich war auf der Suche nach Salzlakritz und bin fündig geworden. Isländische und schwedische Salz Lakritz. Wow.

Nunca había comido un regaliz en tantas formas y tan delicioso, no olvidaré nunca esta franquicia que por España no se conoce. El producto es de calidad y las presentaciones son preciosas. El regaliz picante y el que tiene sal, son adictivos! 😍 con el cucurucho casi muero de un feliz empacho Lo más deficiente es la atención al cliente, fui muchas veces y comprobé que no era algo casual, son poco atentos, supongo que están hartos y la clientela está segura. Man wird sehr lieb beraten und man kann alles probieren. Teilweise schmecken die verschiedenen Sorten sehr schräg. Man findet auch tolle kleine Mitbringsel für die Familie.

I’ll be honest — licorice has never been my favorite flavor profile, but this shop completely surprised me. Lakritsroten in Haga is beautifully curated, with shelves full of inventive and high-quality products that make you rethink what licorice can be. The attendants were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They guided me through some of their most interesting offerings and recommended a chocolate and spice bar where the licorice plays more of a subtle supporting note — adding depth rather than dominating the flavor. It was unexpectedly delicious. Even if licorice isn’t your thing, this shop is absolutely worth a stop for the experience alone.
