We spent an awesome night with Mikael and his cousin. Excellent food in the lavvo. We learnt a lot about the Sami culture and met the proud reindeer lady. Finally Mikael drove us to a place with clear sky where we could watch the Northern light. What an amazing experience! Really recommendable.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We spent a few days at the accommodation "Reindeer Cabin" which was super cozy, with a very nice fireplace, well-equipped kitchen and beautiful location right by the lake. Communication with Mikael was fantastic: he responded very quickly whenever we had a question & was super helpful. We were able to borrow ice skates for free and go for a little skating on the frozen Torne river. What was the best part of our stay was spending an afternoon with Mikael & his father in their grill-hut with a cozy fire, delicious suovas & coffee. Sitting around the fire on a reindeer-fur, listening to stories and learning about sami culture in a very fun & authentic way. We were overwhelmed by their hospitality and warmth. I recommend them with all my heart & wish you all the best :-)
