I’ve rarely come across anything so cheeky: Google lists a ‘Systembolaget’ here, complete with opening hours. So we made a special trip there on Saturday. The problem: it doesn’t exist. Instead, there’s an ICA there where you can apparently order something – without there being any indication of this in the listing whatsoever, not even an order form, product overview or anything of the sort. Instead, it explicitly states: ‘Spirits shop’. Apparently, you can fill in a form in the shop and your order will arrive in a few days (!). Claiming there’s a shop here when there isn’t is clearly intended to lure people unfamiliar with the area, so they can then be talked into buying something at the ICA – that’s bordering on fraud. It’s disgraceful behaviour.
