Örnen – Der Adler Jag hade nöjet att bo där från 18 till 21 oktober i år och blev verkligen imponerad av detta autentiska jugendstilhotell. Rummen och hela inredningen utstrålar den svenska jugendstilen runt 1900. Bekvämligheterna är ganska moderna, med Wi-Fi, dusch och kaffemaskin. Men det har behållit den arkitektoniska charmen från gamla Torsby, mitt i hjärtat av den historiska stadskärnan. Jag var där på en kort affärsresa och kan rekommendera hotellet för affärsmöten.

Charming hotel with great staff! Highly recommended!!!! Hotell Ørnen is ideally located in the city center of Torsby. It’s easy to reach all shops and also possible to easily access a very nice hiking trail which takes you around in Torsby. It’s not fare from the railway station, the bus station and the hospital. Highly recommended countryside hotel with lovely charm! The hotel has parking lots, a very nice, cosy and charming atmosphere and public spaces. They have a coffee/tea machine where it’s possible to grab a drink and sit down and relax in the “lounge area”. Check-in was very easy and when the reception is not manned check-in is by key box. Very easy. They also have a couple of apartments for rent and a nice garden/outdoor area. The rooms are spacious, clean and country side charming. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and linen were soft and nice. The overall impression was very good! The staff was great. Unfortunately we had to make a late ad hoc booking, but they assisted in the best possible way and made us feel very well cared for. Excellent service and communication and they were so attentive and friendly. They tried their best to assist with and facilitate for our needs, and they showed outstanding service and flexibility. The breakfast room is very cosy and they served a tasty local breakfast - a good selection of different items. Some of the food seemed locally produced and it was fresh and nice. If we should mention one thing to be aware of is because the hotel is in the city center it was unavoidable not to hear youngsters drive and have fun during the weekend. We enjoyed our stay at Hotell Ørnen and can truly recommend this cosy countryside hotel!

Hyggelig opphold på et klassisk og eldre hotell. God frokost, rene rom og hyggelig personale. Kommer gjerne igjen ved en senere anledning.
