My standards and expectations are by no means high. But. 2 toliets on 40 beds, (which neither feel very accessible nor private, as they are right as the receptionand common area so everyone can year your business and make sure you lock as people will try the door every 30 seconds. Also remember to bring your bath towel if you bought one, as there are no paper towels. Also ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night) kitchen is so small its crowded if 3 people are in it, not clean. The common are is barely existing, its a table in front of reception and it kind of feels like youre intruding on the receptionist when sitting there or like youre watched as you try to eat.
The window to our room was left slightly open, and not accessible to close if you dont try and climb, as its very high up. Our friends room had a broken latch on the window so could not be fully closed. Cold during the night.
Place feels a bit shady, would not feel safe traveling alone as a woman.
Staff has clearly entered the room during the day, and there is nowhere to lock your belongings inside the room.
Spots on the bedcovers and the very sparse furniture has seen better days.
Nowhere to put your things.
The pillow is a joke.
Friends found a small zip bag they might think could been a old drug bag.
Its very calm and quiet though during our stay, I'll give it that. However its a noisy road outside.
And if people are talking at normal volume you will hear them through the walls, so the calm really is more thanks to the guests being respectful.
If youre looking for a really cheap place to only sleep, dont mind grime and bad mojo, and are fine planning your pooping time to either during nightime when everyone sleeps or somewhere else, it might be acceptable. For Sweden the standards are low, but so is the price, especially for the location. Just be aware of what you're booking. It might be fine to you if your standards are low.
Great for the Price! Good Location, the owner was really kind. Rooms and Facilities were clean. Would recommend, more than enough if you’re planning to just sleep there.
Wifi was slow sometimes tho.
Great location, but very low comfort level
The biggest advantage of this place is the location. It is excellent, very central, and close to many attractions. The shared kitchen is also a significant advantage — there is a refrigerator, cooking equipment, and many possibilities to prepare your own meals. The owners were friendly and helpful.
However, the level of comfort is quite low. The rooms are extremely small and very basic. The room structure and atmosphere felt more like a functional dormitory than a comfortable accommodation. The window is very small, located high on the wall, and cannot be opened, which creates a feeling of limited ventilation.
The main problem is the ratio between the number of guests and the facilities. There are only 2 toilets and 4 showers for around 30 guests, which creates long waiting times in the morning for basic needs.
Another important point is the price. We paid approximately €310 for two nights for two people, which is a very high price considering the level of comfort, room size, and limited bathroom facilities. For this price, we expected a much higher standard of accommodation.
In summary: this place can be suitable for travelers looking for a very affordable option with an excellent location and who are willing to compromise on comfort. However, considering the price we paid, the value for money was disappointing.
The location and the friendly hosts are the main strengths; the limited facilities, very basic rooms, and poor value for money are the main weaknesses.
Ideal location for exploring Stockholm, but overall quite expensive for the setup. It’s very quiet with less social atmosphere, and the kitchen is tiny. Just a heads up that they charge a mandatory 65 SEK one-time fee to rent bed sheets, which adds to the original price. Stay here for the location, not the vibe.
Cette auberge convient pour une nuit.
Ayant passé 4nuits avec mes amies, hormis l’emplacement, je n’ai pas apprécié du tout cette auberge. 2 toilettes, 4douches et 4 lavabos pour 11 chambres avec dans chacune 3 à 8 lits. Le gérant rentre dans la chambre sans toquer plusieurs fois, et pas très aimable… au départ on avait réservé 2nuits et après on s’est rendues compte qu’on pouvait rester plus longtemps donc on a décidé d’appeler l’auberge à distance et une fois arrivées là-bas, qu’une envie c’est de partir… je ne m’étais pas engagée à payer et nous n’avons pas pu annuler les 2 nuits alors qu’elles n’étaient pas payées, sans acompte sans engagement de signé !
Nous avons dormis en dortoir 6 lits… un vrai séjour en prison presque ! Absolument AUCUN espace, deux sacs de voyage sur le sol et plus aucun de nous ne pouvait circuler ! Tellement peu d’espace que les lits étaient carrément contre les fenêtres ! D’ailleurs notre fenêtre était cassée, elle ne fermait même pas, donc entre le bruit de la rue et le froid de la nuit, super… Dans notre chambre nous étions obligés d’escalader les lits pour atteindre la fenêtre, désolée je ne suis pas Tarzan et je n’ai pas fait Koh-Lanta !! Pas de casier nulle part dans l’auberge.
En bref, bien pour une seule nuit, les locaux sont tout de même propres, et les clients de l’auberge sont très souvent aimables ! Et il est vrai que le bâtiment est très bien placé, avec beaucoup d’épiceries et magasins très sympas autour, au bord du port, etc…
Mais dommage que l’auberge en elle-même soit très moyenne !
Platser. Var bra men de hade falsk marknadsföring. Via deras bokning så bokade jag och min bror ett rum där det stod att vi skulle ha egen toa och dusch men det stämde inte utan vi fick ta del av dem 4 duschar som fanns samt 1 toa på ca 7 rum. Duscharna var extremt smutsiga och äckliga. Luktade kloak och vatten kändes ej rent. Rummet var extremt litet och kändes inte välkomnande. Ända + var att sängen var åtminstone bekväm.
