That was a lot of fun and highly recommend booking this. The history behind the Dala was well explained as waa the 'how to paint' a traditional Dala horse.

Would give a 10 star if possible 😄 I purchased in store and the horses are gorgeous. Quality feels hand crafted and beautifully painted. I placed and online order thereafter and my purchase got lost in the mail. The owner responded very quickly and offered a replacement! Excellent customer service - I would definitely recommend buying from this shop.

Lovely souvenir shop. Brightly lit with a very friendly staff. It features colourful hand painted wooden horses made by an artisan family dating 100 years. Got a small purple painted horse here. Not cheap but it was really cute and made a good souvenir. Any extra change or money that is donated goes to a charity for sick children. Highly recommended.

We had such an amazing time during the Dala horse painting. I highly recommend this activity, our guide was extremely patient, helpful and very fun to talk to. I feel like it’s a must in Stockholm to go there! The selection of already painted horses is beautiful too.

We loved the experience! Something easy to do while you learn a little bit of Sweden and bring home a very original souvenir! And if you don’t feel like painting they also have lots of finished ones in many different colors! Would definitely do again!!

Terrible customer service! I contacted about any availability for the class and was asked “what time and how many for today” then waited for a response to not get one. Traveled 30 minutes to the store to be told ‘no’..’no availability’. Why not start with that instead of making it seem like there were openings. Wasted my time and owner didn’t even care. Just gave excuses and talked about needing to unpack boxes. What a shame! I don’t recommend at all unless you want to be disappointed and waste time/money for traveling.

Fun experience to paint a Dala horse. Lovely guided by a Dala horse painter. Can absolutely recommend! Maybe a few more different sizes in paint brushes would be nice.
