Worst desi food I’ve ever had! I ordered several dishes, and somehow they all tasted exactly the same. The nihari had an overwhelming taste of tomato and coconut, which completely ruined its authentic flavor. Honestly, this was extremely disappointing and nowhere near what I expected from desi cuisine. Definitely not recommended!

A very disappointing experience overall. The food was nowhere close to the taste and quality of the Indian Cuisine, and honestly, it didn’t feel worth the money. The restaurant is quite congested, with small tables and uncomfortable chairs, making it difficult to enjoy the dining experience. Overall, I expected much better food and ambience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian flavours and a comfortable place to dine.

The food at Daawat was amazing! Do mind the spice levels if you are sensitive. Our server, Hikmant was so kind, funny, and attentive. Highly recommend if you love a diverse range of South Asian cuisine!

The food here brings back the real taste of India, that original desi zayka filled with rich spices, beautiful aromas, and flavours that remind you of home. ❤️ When you live outside India, finding food that genuinely captures the authentic Indian taste is not always easy. Had their chicken Tikka, Karahi and Lamb Karahi. The best Pakistani Indian Food in town and especially the hospitality of staff guy Mr. Ali is excellent and exceptional. Highly Recommend for authentic Pakistani, Indian Food.

They served authentic Indian food. It was so wholesome and satisfying. The staff is so warm and nice. The chef Ram (I hope I am not wrong) was very nice and I had a nice conversation with them.

Om indisk mat är din favorit, då är Daawat tveklöst stället att besöka. Välsmakande rätter i olika styrka efter smak. Mysig lokal nära Masthuggstorgets hållplats. Trevlig och mycket serviceinriktad personal gör upplevelsen minnesvärd. Lunch vardagar med fräscha sallader och naanbröd. Kvällstid rekommenderas att studera den digra menyn, det är rena poesin för den som älskar denna typ av mat. Ta er tid av avnjuta förrätter, huvudrätt och dessert med goda vänner!
