Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the food, as I wasn’t able to have dinner there because there was a dinner party on board. It would have been nice to have been told this when I checked into the ship’s hotel a few hours earlier. I ended up sorting something else out instead. BTW: The hotel itself is very good!
However, the service is, unfortunately, so poor that I can’t recommend spending the evening here. I thought it would be nice to be able to enjoy a quiet glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. The atmosphere is great too, but unfortunately on two evenings I had to wait up to 30-45 minutes before I was finally served a glass of wine. On the first evening, the waiting staff walked past me several times and completely ignored me. OK, there was a group having dinner on board, but the waiters weren’t exactly working their fingers to the bone. Quite the opposite, in fact – it was a stress-free shift (and I know what the service side of the hospitality industry can be like). On the second evening, I went back just to have a drink, thinking that perhaps it had just been a one-off. But unfortunately, I was ignored again, and after half an hour I went to the bar myself and fetched my drink. The service really does need to improve!
The waitresses are all very pretty - personally I couldn’t care less - but unfortunately they come across as completely dismissive towards the guests.

This is in my opinion a fantastic place to be. The service is frienly, attentive and very polite. We had a superb dinner with a good quality wine for a decent price. Definately a memorable and recommendable place to be! Thank you!
