I decided to write a review of my experience with Alfa (pretty late, but better late than never 😊). I moved from California to Malmö in 2018 with Rainier Overseas Movers, and Alfa was the local mover to receive the container at the port and deliver my shipment. Alfa hired Freys Express to deliver the shipment to my apartment. Due to local regulations preventing them from transporting the container directly to my apartment, they had to transfer the contents of the shipping container to a moving truck at their office (and they informed me of this so that I could be present to see everything being moved from the container into the truck). Overall, their staff was friendly, responsive, and provided quality, timely service. And despite things needing to be moved an extra time between the container and the truck, I wasn't charged any additional amount, and everything was moved into the apartment without any damage. I have a feeling there are probably others who had a good experience similar to mine, but also forgot to write a review. People generally seem more likely to write reviews when they have a bad experience they want to complain about. But when everything goes smoothly, most don't often think about it enough to remember to give credit where it is due and express their gratitude.
