We visited yaha on a breezy summer evening and left unhappy, the place itself has a lot going for it, but the service nearly ruined the experience, location is excellent. Sitting outside you get a lovely, relaxed atmosphere that feels very much like summer in this part of Skåne, the surroundings are pleasant and open and the overall setting makes it easy to linger. It’s the kind of place where the environment does a lot of the work for you, you instantly feel like you’re somewhere nice and the restaurant was also impressively clean. Tables, floors, and the general area were well looked after, and even during a busy evening everything felt fresh and tidy, the presentation of the food reflected this care too plates arrived looking neat and appetising. And the food really delivers. We tried the YA-HA’s fries with parmesan and double dip simple but well executed, crispy and moreish. The Hot N Spicy Smashed Potatoes were another highlight, great texture, nice heat from the chili oil, and the combination of crispy shallots and fresh cheese worked perfectly. In short, the kitchen knows what it’s doing. The food is well-prepared, the flavours are considered, and the menu has a good mix of casual and slightly more elevated dishes. The service, however, is where the experience fell apart. From the moment we sat down, the staff seemed completely uninterested. It took a long time to even get acknowledged when someone finally came over, the interaction felt rushed and half hearted, as if we were interrupting them. Throughout the evening the staff appeared more focused on chatting with each other or standing around than looking after the guests. When we needed something, we had to actively try to catch someone’s attention, often without success so we had to go inside to serve ourselves, there was no sense of warmth, attentiveness, or even basic hospitality. It honestly felt like the staff would have preferred if the restaurant were empty. for a place that clearly puts effort into the food and the setting, the lack of care from the team is baffling and quite frustrating. YaHa has a genuinely nice location, a pleasant atmosphere, excellent cleanliness, and food that is clearly a step above average. If the service matched the quality of the kitchen, this would easily be a place I’d return to and recommend without hesitation. Unfortunately, the uninterested and largely unattended staff left a strong negative impression that overshadowed much of what was good. It’s a shame, because the potential is clearly there.

Jätte god mat jag och sambon blev överraskade över servicen från personalen trots mycket gäster som åt och drack kan rekommendera Ya-Ha kom gå dit igen nästa gång vi besöker Helsingborg 🤗😃
