Das Tourismusbüro habe ich nicht besucht auf unserer viertägigen Reise. Die Stadt bietet sehr viel und ist unglaublich vielseitig. Eigentlich müsste man viel länger dort bleiben. Eines habe ich allerdings schon anzumerken: in der Stadt gibt es viel zu wenige öffentliche Toiletten, man möchte nicht immer in ein Restaurant oder Museum gehen, um eine Toilette zu erreichen.

Great service and staff, towards small companies. But. We wish the Swedish state would grant them more resources, than the present small allowance - that would improve the service to especially foreign tourists a lot. As a small company in the archipelago (Fredriksborg Hotel) we try to help, but much better translation to English of information, timetables and boat alternatives is needed so tourists can plan the vacation from home. Obviously. Especially SL should improve on that! (This rating is for Visit Stockholm staff. The rating for tourism responsible politicians and the SL timetable department it is a one-star.)

The current (2024) Rick Steves tour book still lists this as an in-person tourist information office, located near the City Center. It has since abandoned its face-to-face mission and gone to a digital-only source for information. The address given by this website is for their business office (the receptionist at the building hands out business cards with a link to the website). I can get information from all over the internet. I needed a real person to bounce ideas off of and to answer questions about accessing the transit system. The for-profit information booths in the train station, etc. aren't a reliable source for information. The website should make more clear that the address is just a business office and that no humans will talk to you.

Das Tourismus Büro wird gerade Umgebaut, die Mitarbeiter v. Service d.Stockholm Rail (Verkehrsbetrieb) am T-Central Platz haben davon keine Ahnung sie verweisen auf das geschlossene Büro. Vor Ort kein Hinweis auf Alternativ Standorte.
