RapporteraIf you are backpacking or bikepacking with a tent, I wouldn't recommend you to stop in this camp-site. It's very sad because Peter, the man of the couple who owns the camp-site, was very sweet and even allowed us to borrow bicycles to go to Coop before it closed. Also the sanitaries were nice and clean. That's why I'm putting two stars. During our wild camping trip around southern Sweden we thought of going to the coast and it was a bit difficult to wild camp there, so we thought we could also use a shower and ended up in this camp-site with crazy good grades. The problem is: it's not adapted at all for tents. Sure there is a grass area where you can put up a tent but it's about all. First when we arrived we were immediately attacked by hundreds of mosquitoes (and it's not an exaggeration, i killed about 60, and counted at least 60 more under the tent cover in the evening) which was very annoying to put up the tent. We were surrounded by campervans (because the tent area is directly next to the campervans one), some belonging to some people (around 60-70 yo) who forget that some of us don't have walls to isolate against the noise. I had to tell those people to be more considerate the two nights we stayed, and the second when I got angry after trying to sleep for 1h, at almost midnight, instead of apologising and lowering the volume, they decided to mock me and laugh at me, and kept laughing and speaking super loud after I came back to the tent. They clearly showed that I was annoying them and that they heard me the first time, but that they didn't care. They also were the only campervan that was so loud and it apparently didn't shock them. I was so surprised, angry and disappointed to see this behaviour among people who could be my grandparents, and especially in Sweden where so far, everyone had been super super sweet. Earlier the same day, we waited in line at the sinks inside to wash a few underwears before going back into the wilderness, and when my partner took a free sink, a woman (probably friend with the others I don't know) told us the sinks were only for washing the dishes (it's absolutely not written anywhere) and that we should use the washing machine. Of course it didn't come to her mind that using 50L of water and money to wash 3 underwears didn't make sense at all. As she was very disagreeable, we just went out washing our clothes in the outside sinks (where people also wash their dishes by the way), attacked by mosquitoes. So as a tent camper, if this attitude disturbs you too, don't go there. Those people thought this was their private camp-site and didn't understand that the reason why people go to camp-sites and pay the night is because they're expecting to be able to sleep there during said-night. In most camp-sites, there are times from which everyone has to be quiet. It's often 22h, sometimes 23h. I think it would be good to have this here as well. It would also be good to have clearly defined areas for tents and campervans. And clearly defined places to wash clothes by hand. We're not all okay with using a washing machine for so little clothes. Finally, it would be good to have a kitchen, where tent people could go to cook more easily and when the weather is bad, for example. And of course, there should be way more traps against mosquitoes. It's the only area where we had so many in a full week in Sweden.
