Avoid Varbergs Auktionskammare – deceptive listings and complete lack of accountability.
I purchased a camera via Auctionet from Varbergs Auktionskammare. The item was clearly misrepresented: it was defective, labeled “Not for sale”, had major damage that was deliberately hidden in the listing photos, and included broken components. This was not a “used” item — this was unsellable.
When I tried to return it, I encountered weeks of silence, evasion and indifference. The seller refused to communicate directly, and instead stalled through vague responses via Auctionet and ECC. After nearly 5 months of back-and-forth, no solution was offered other than “send us the item and hope for a refund”. No documentation. No guarantees. Just blind trust in a seller who already deceived me once.
This behavior is unacceptable. It violates basic consumer protection laws in the EU. If you value transparency, honesty, and your legal rights — avoid this auction house. Their conduct is negligent at best, and intentionally misleading at worst.

The company's work efficiency is extremely low and they never reply to customers' emails.
I auctioned a watch in early August, but they delayed the delivery. I sent many emails to inquire about the delivery status, but they ignored me. So I had to turn to the service department of their head office to find out the situation. Finally, it took more than 20 days for me to receive the goods.
Because I was not satisfied with the defective watch, I requested a return according to the remote purchase law. I sent them dozens of emails, but they just didn't reply to confirm my request. I had no choice but to turn to their head office's customer service. After repeated contact and urging from their customer service, the problem was finally solved. During this period, I sent a total of forty or fifty emails, and it took more than two and a half months and with the help of their head office's service department, the problem was finally solved!
This process was extremely boring, time-consuming and labor-intensive, and I don't think I will ever buy anything from Varbergs Auktionskammare again.

Hello, i understand your frustration about this, but you have to understand that you live in China and not Europe, the process takes a while.
We also wrote that it was a defect watch from the beggining and you still wanted this, after you did not want it again it took a long time before it arrived to our auction house, after it did, we refunded you so this review does not seem like a serious thing to us, especially when we did our part, we can not help that transports take a long time.
