There’s something truly special about The Outpost. Surrounded by forest and water, the place has an almost sacred presence. But what touched me most was the people holding this space, their generosity, openness and genuine care. You can feel the love behind it, and the freedom to imagine other ways of being and living together. A place with so much soul and possibility. I feel very grateful to have experienced it 🥹

This was my second visit to Outpost and I think I somehow loved it even more this time. We stayed for a long weekend and packed in an ecological survey, much-needed time in nature, games, great food, ridiculous conversations and a lot of laughing. I think what makes Outpost really special though is the people it brings together. You end up sitting around a table or a fire with fascinating people from completely different worlds, talking about things you’d probably never normally come across. Every time I visit I leave having learnt something completely unexpected. There’s something about the place that makes you feel very free too. You slow down, play, explore, walk through the forest, jump in the water, have a sauna, talk absolute nonsense and then somehow find yourself having one of the most interesting conversations you’ve had in ages. It doesn’t really feel like going away to stay somewhere. It feels like temporarily joining a brilliant little community in the woods. Second visit down and definitely not the last ❤️
