The pricing I would give one star, however, the four stars I have given are for the kindness of the woman who runs the shop, the quality of the work done, the convenient location and the slight discount she offered after presenting me with a shocking price. On the pricing, I travel to over 100 cities a year and this is by far the most I have ever been charged for 6kg of laundry in any country in the world. The cost was 900SEK (nearly $100 USD) for what I considered to be a single load of laundry. For reference, standard rates in the city for this type of service and this weight according to Google are 2x to 4.5x times lower. See below: ‘Dry Cleaners / Drop-Off Services: Many local kemtvätt (dry cleaning) shops accept personal laundry wash-and-fold bundles, which typically cost between 200 SEK and 400 SEK per 5–6 kg load.’ I also had a two piece suit which was 400SEK and two shirts at 50SEK so also very expensive. As mentioned, she did remove 180SEK from the suit and shirts total so did try to work with me a little bit given my shock and the size of the total order. I will consider using this service again in the future if in a tight spot, however, I will be very careful only to provide the exact items I need washed and nothing more given the extremely high weight-based pricing structure. Thank you for doing a good job despite the high prices.
