This is one of those places where the photos actually match reality! What you see online is exactly what you get in real life. We had the chance to stay in the Mirrorcube, and honestly, it was such a cozy experience. Despite the freezing weather outside, the room stayed warm and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. There’s also a hiking trail nearby, which is a nice way to get some exercise and enjoy the surroundings. And the best part? You can literally see the Northern Lights in the sky at night! The Wi-Fi was great too, and the sauna was clean and perfect for warming up and relaxing after being out in the cold. Overall, we had a really great stay. The unique accommodation, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, and chance to see the aurora made the whole experience special. Definitely worth visiting!

I had a terrific, relaxing stay at the Treehotel in Lulea, Sweden! The staff were wonderful, attentive and kind, especially Johanna, Peter, Alisa and Erik. And Linus is an exceptional sous chef. And the rooms are cleverly designed each with its own character. Well worth a visit!!

We celebrated my 50th birthday at this incredibly magical place, and I couldn’t be happier that we did. Treehotel is one of those rare places that somehow manages to exceed even the expectations you have before you arrive. The staff are truly exceptional. From Sophie, the day manager, who seems determined to exceed every guest’s expectations, to Simone, the extraordinarily talented chef whose creations are second to none, to Daniel, the night manager and simply all-around wonderful human being, everyone made our stay feel incredibly special. And then there is the hotel itself. We loved every second in our room, thirty feet above the ground, complete with a suspended net where we could lie back, relax, and feel as though we were living among the treetops. It was unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. If you have any sort of bucket list, put Treehotel on it. It is that unique, that magical, and that special. Celebrating my 50th birthday there is something I will never forget.

Lovely stay with our international guests in a couple of the tree houses last night. The dinner was superb, so was the breakfast! The tree hotel stay is an experience everyone enjoyed. Thank you!

Magical place in nature! Wonderful staff, delicious food. Cozy cabins, really beautiful and unique in their own ways. We stayed in the 7th room and dragonfly, would def be back! Recommend lots of bug repellant if you come during the summer months (they’re very kind to offer their own too!). All in all a memorable time with the family, in the middle of nature, surrounded by beautiful people, stunning architecture, great food, absolutely amazing wildlife + nature.

We did not stay at Tree Hotel, but we had two unforgettable meals at Britta’s Guesthouse, located within the 1930s-style main building. For our two-course lunch and three-course dinner, the kitchen showcased authentic Arctic Lapland cuisine made from wild, Northern Swedish ingredients. We especially appreciated the focus on local delicacies, and the moose meatballs were a standout favorite. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, running the restaurant with a warm, family-like touch. They even shared the history of Treehotel, which completely sparked our interest in staying there on our next visit. This immersive culinary experience is highly recommended for anyone eager to eat hyper-local. Enjoy your meal in a welcoming Swedish home!
