A genuine surprise. The place is tiny — one table inside at the counter, five or six out on the street — but from the bar you can watch a bit of the kitchen while your food is made. We had the fried prawn poke bowl, a teriyaki roll, the mixed dumplings and the vegetarian spring rolls: generous portions, nothing left over, and everything came out fast. Miso soup and cucumber water are on the house, and the miso was outstanding. You help yourself to glasses, chopsticks and soy sauce, which fits the informal feel. It's run by two men whose English is basic but who are warm, polite and genuinely attentive. Unpretentious and authentic — exactly the kind of spot you want in your neighbourhood.

I found this place completely by accident, and the portions are huge and the food is unbelievably delicious! Thank you so much, I definitely recommend it to everyone, especially for such a good price!
