I absolutely loved to work with Jakob at Top Floor Studios. As a research for my masters Thesis I wanted to record drums for my bands new album in one take, without editing and without using samples on the final mix. Jakob was totally into the idea and was a really great asset for my entire research and for making the drums sound as good as possible. When sending the raw drum files to the mix engineer he replied "Jakob is a genius when it comes to capture drums", and that he is. The studio was great, it had a nice atmosphere and I felt at home immediately. Jakob was also really nice to work with, he knows how to make you releax but at the same time push you to get the best possible result, and I could not be more happy with the final product.

Without a doubt one of the best studio-experiences I've ever had! I was here in 2020 with my band VOLA, and first of all, you're in heaven here as a drummer, since Jakob Herrmann (the owner) specializes in drums (there is a HUGE shelf filled with various snaredrums in the studio). The location is also amazing, since the studio is located in the building of a big theater in the center of Gothenburg. Beautiful location pretty much in the city centre. And Jakob is a supernice guy with strong ties to Gothenburg and to the Swedish metalscene (or the rock/metalscene in general). If you want a great overall experience with professional results, Top Floor Studios is more than recommended :)
