I was visiting Stockholm for a week and was craving idli. Being a South Indian, I was looking forward to try this out and I was impressed! Really soft idlis, lovely sambar and great tasting chutneys. I really loved the mutton kari dosa. This is very authentic and is the real deal.

The vada tasted as if it had been fried multiple times and reeked of cooking oil. The dosa had barely any potato masala filling, making me feel I would have been better off ordering a plain dosa and saving the money. The sambar was served cold, in an extremely small bowl. After I requested hot sambar, I received another bowl free of charge, which I appreciate. However, it was so thick that it felt more like dal than sambar. We arrived at 9 p.m., a full hour before closing, yet were immediately told to hurry up because the kitchen was closing and they were taking their last orders. This is hardly welcoming customer service. Overall, average food quality and small portions. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

Our South Indian restaurant is built around Chettinad cuisine, and I would be grateful for another chance to look after you properly. Amazing Food and amazing service. The Chettinad mix during the Lunch menu and chicken biryani and podi masala dosa during dinner must try!!!!
