One of the best bookshops in all of Gothenburg with a wide variety of genres to browse and an overall cozy atmosphere. If I don't find exactly what you're looking for, the staff have more often than not helped me out by ordering a copy. Well worth a visit, whether you're a local or just visiting.

Well-stocked bookstore, especially when it comes to Non-Fiction and queer books. The staff seems to put a lot of care and thought into their selection, which was beautiful to see.

They store was clean, well organized, and had a wide range of books in English. We were looking for a book on the history of Sweden for a gift. The staff was very helpful and gave us several suggestions. We were able to find one that we think my father-in-law will enjoy. The next time we are in Göteborg, we will be back to The English Bookshop.
