Impressive selection, but where is the Swedish wine? 🇸🇪🍷 As a visitor to Stockholm, I was genuinely impressed by Systembolaget. The range is substantial and incredibly diverse, with wines and other drinks from seemingly every corner of the world. Which made my experience slightly ironic. I came to Sweden wanting to buy a bottle of Swedish wine as a gift to take home to London… and that turned into something of a treasure hunt. 😂 I completely appreciate that Swedish wine production is relatively small, but surely this is exactly what curious visitors would love to discover. Among such an extensive international selection, I would have loved to see a clearly marked little section showcasing Swedish producers, with a few bottles actually available to take away. I eventually discovered that Swedish wines do exist within Systembolaget’s wider range, but finding one spontaneously in Stockholm proved surprisingly difficult. So, a very impressive and diverse retailer, but one request from this particular tourist: please show off Sweden a little more! 🇸🇪 If I can find wine from half the planet on your shelves, don’t make me go on an expedition to find one made in your own country. 😂🍷 Four stars, with the fifth waiting patiently beside a bottle of Swedish Solaris. 😉

Good choice of wines and whiskies, but could have increased varieties of spirits.
