Vi tog fixed menyn. Jag rekommenderar inte den. Man får väldigt lite för pengarna speciellt om man är ett stort sällskap. Med de pengarna kan man köpa fler rätter än vad de ger er på fixed menyn.

Surfers certainly knows how to make a good first impression. The interior is stylish, thoughtfully designed, and creates a convincing Chinese atmosphere. Service is friendly, and everything arrives quickly. Suspiciously quickly, actually. Now, here’s my problem. Why does everything need to swim in sauce? Oil, garlic, chili, more oil, more sauce. Dish after dish, the same story. I’ve said this before: when a restaurant claims to use quality ingredients, why bury them under so much sauce that you can barely taste what you’re actually eating? Great Chinese cooking is about balance. Heat, acidity, texture, and the natural flavors of the ingredients working together. Not simply turning up the garlic and chili until everything tastes roughly the same. And yet, restaurants like this seem to attract enormous hype in Sweden. Surfers isn’t alone. There are other fashionable places following exactly the same formula. I genuinely struggle to understand it. Big flavors don’t automatically mean good cooking. To make matters worse, the white wine was barely chilled. Come on. That’s basic restaurant service. There were, however, two genuine highlights. The cocktails were excellent, and the popcorn ice cream was absolutely delicious. Creative, balanced, and actually worth getting excited about. I’ve included a photo of the empty plates. Take a look at what’s left behind. Pools of sauce and oil. It tells you quite a lot about the cooking. Surfers has the atmosphere, the service, and clearly knows how to attract a crowd. But for me, the kitchen relies far too heavily on sauces, garlic, and heat instead of letting the ingredients shine. Strip back the sauces, trust the produce, and let the food do the talking. Because right now, there’s more hype than substance on these plates.

God mat med härliga smaker. Vi beställde sju smårätter på tre personer. Menyn var något mindre men det fanns ändå något för alla att välja på. Personalen var uppmärksam och atmosfären var livlig och trevlig.

The food here is absolutely delicious. If you're tired of always playing it safe when dining out, I highly recommend ordering a set menu. It’s the perfect way to step out of your comfort zone and explore a variety of incredible dishes from Chinese cuisine that you probably wouldn't think to order otherwise. Amazing flavors, great atmosphere, and a wonderful experience overall!

Our waitress was lovely, and the food was OK for the prices. There were no standout dishes, and most of the meats were really, really salty. Likely won’t return or recommend.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen. Die Auswahl ist gross und alles schmeckt sehr gut. Der Service ist super und das Ambiente schön. Sehr empfehlenswert.
