The entertainment itself is great. I wish you would take a clearer stand against people smoking in the outdoor cinemas. I was in two of the showings on outdoor cinema and both times there were people both vaping and smoking in the crowd and none of the organizers did anything.

Malmo taking a lead role on modern street art development. The Sommarscen is a bold and innovative example of a cultural program that uses street performance to animate city spaces and to make city life more exciting and inclusive. As with most city street art programs, Sommarscen shows are free to attend at outdoor venues. Unlike the majority of other city street art programs, however — usually festivals on a single location for a single weekend — Sommarscene runs 50 programs on 40 locations over the course of 6 weeks. All cities should be taking notes! Signe Marie and I performed in the program in July 2025. we were honoured to be part of Malmö’s vision, impressed by the scale of public participation and delighted to be part of the growth of street arts in Sweden.
