Subway as a concept is a place I actually like. The whole idea is that you choose exactly what you want, watch your sandwich being built in front of you, see the ingredients being carefully placed, and enjoy the process. Especially if you are a perfectionist, you expect the person behind the counter to take some pride in making it: cutting the bread nicely, placing the ingredients properly, smiling, asking what you want, and making sure that two similar sandwiches look and feel the same. Even small details, like using a proper scoop of chicken or filling the portion correctly, make a big difference. Unfortunately, this branch did not give me that experience. Subway is a chain, and most ingredients and procedures should be similar everywhere, but the biggest difference comes from the staff preparing your food. The vegetables, cheese, sauces, and bread are basically the same in every branch, but the person making your sandwich determines the experience. The staff here seemed uninterested and showed very little customer interaction. There was no smile, no friendly communication, and the sandwich was prepared without much care. It felt like they were just putting ingredients together without paying attention to the details that make Subway enjoyable. I also had a small issue when ordering a simple bottle of water. I did not want a soft drink, so I asked for regular water. First, I was charged for mineral water, and after correcting it, I was charged 3 SEK for a cup. Maybe this is a new policy, but the way it was handled did not feel very customer-friendly. I still like Subway overall and would probably come back if I was hungry because I enjoy the sandwiches. For Subway as a brand, I would give around 4/5. But this specific branch was only a 2/5 experience. If there is another Subway nearby, I would probably choose that one instead.

Personalen brukar oftast lägga tonfisk med något typ av verktyg, men hon som lade på tonfisk på min macka gjorde det med handen… kommer inte tillbaka

Fick så trevligt bemötande av Anita ( tror jag hon hette, hörde inte så bra ) hon arbeta så hårt, och var ändå så trevligt trots situationen och antalet kunder som kom in under lunchtid. Det var väldigt fint att se! 😊
