Der Platz liegt praktisch 20 km vor Stockholm. Um die Stadt zu besichtigen (wir sind statt mit dem Wohnmobil mit einem Uber gefahren) ist der Platz nahezu perfekt. Zudem liegt er wirklich ruhig in einem Waldgebiet an einem See. Dennoch hat es uns hier nicht sonderlich gefallen. Die Sanitärhäuser sind wirklich nicht schön, praktisch ja aber auch nicht wirklich sauber. Gepflegt wird der Platz leider gar nicht. Geschirr spülen muss man im Freien. Möchte man heißes Wasser, muss man dieses extra holen. Wir waren drei Nächte dort und geputzt wurde kein einziges Mal. Es ist kein Platz zum Urlaub machen, lediglich um verkehrsgünstig nach Stockholm zu kommen. Der angrenzende Bikepark hatte leider auch nicht auf.

Toller Platz für Zwischenübernachtungen, sauber, ordentlich, top gepflegt, Waschhaus sauber und vollkommen ausreichend. Ca. 7 Kilometer bis zur nächsten Bahnstation (Richtung Stockholm), mit dem Fahrrad oder Uber gut erreichbar. Sehr nette und kompetente Mitarbeiter.

Also wir sind nach zwei Jahren nochmal gekommen. Jedoch nur wegen dem Bike Park neben dran und auch die Nahe zu Stockholm. Doch die Sanitäranlagen sind nicht tragbar. Alt ist eine Sache aber auch noch so ( entschuldigt) widerlich dreckig ist untragbar. Leider sieht das Personal dies leider nicht so. Ich würde diesen Platz nicht mehr empfehlen.

Where to begin, My parents booked a pitch for a week, for 3 people. I arrived a day late by car to join them there, on that pitch with my small tent. My parents had informed staff that I would be arriving a day after them and that I would stay with them, they were told that wasn't an issue and that they'd open the gate upon my arrival. They day of my arrival however the mood had shifted and the young, helpful staff was replaced with an old grumpy lady that tried to get us to pay for a different pitch. Arguing that you're not paying per person but per tent even though that isn't mentioned anywhere while booking. With some arguing they reluctantly 'agreed' that I could pitch my tiny tent on their admittedly huge pitch but my car would have to be parked on the adjacent parking lot which she also told me was "dangerous" (most likely in a last ditch effort to get me to buy my own pitch and be allowed to park on site. Obviously, nothing happened in the 5 days I parked there.) The campsite itself is adequate, it doesn't cost too much and serves as a good Basecamp to explore Stockholm, it's about a 10 min drive to Huddinge station and from there a 15 min train ride directly into the center of Stockholm. The pitches are large but not marked very clearly and have a pretty big slope, so be careful with pitching your tent. Sanitary facilities are ok if a bit dated, showers are acceptable but lack good pressure. The biggest issue is have is that the road that runs through the campsite is used as a racetrack by other guests, camp staff, trash collection and mountainbikers. This downhill slope is often used to reach speeds well up to 40 or 50 kph. If you have kids, do not let them out of your sight!! There is no speed limit posted anywhere and there are no speed bumps to discourage this behaviour either. This road also leads to the lake which will attract various non campers looking to spend a day there but with alcohol involved it can easily become a noise complaint when they have to inevitably come back up the slope back to their cars with their speakers blaring at 11:30pm. Luckily in the morning all the workers that have permanent residence on the campgrounds will race past your tent at 7am and the construction workers will start hammering metal rods into the ground a kilometer away which echoes through the valley nicely. Couple that with trash collection that starts at 7am too and you will likely get some great sleep if you're pitched anywhere close to the entrance. Overall, consider it an option if you're planning to explore Stockholm and don't plan to spend much time at the campground.

Dieser Platz ist mit Abstand der schlechteste, auf dem wir je waren. Tatsächlich lässt sich Stockholmit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln von dort aus gut erreichen. Das ist jedoch alles, was der Platz zu bieten hat. Die Sanitäranlagen sind nicht nur alt, sondern auch dreckig und widerlich. Es gibt nur eine Familiendusche, in der es nicht einmal Haken oder Ablagestellen für Kleidung und Handtücher gibt. Auf den Fotos wirkt es so, als wäre das Wasser unmittelbar am Campingplatz. Das ist nicht der Fall, man muss ein Stück laufen, mit SUPs und kleinen Kindern unpraktisch. Es gibt nicht einmal einen Spielplatz! Und man bekommt einen riesigen Schlüssel, sowie einen Pincode für die Schranken, wo man dann mit Wohnwagen im steilen Hang auch noch anhalten muss. Alles ist sehr veraltet und ungepflegt. Der Platz punktet einzig und allein durch die Nähe zur Stadt.

We hebben hier gekampeerd ivm bezoek aan Stockholm en dat was prima. Voor kamperen met een tent geeft de camping niet een kampeergevoel, het is gewoon een ruime plek waar je kan staan zonder verder echt sfeer. Het sanitair is beperkt, 1 toilet voor vrouw, 1 toilet voor man en 1 algemeen toilet. Het is niet mega schoon, maar was prima. Er was een afwasplek met warm water. We hebben geparkeerd bij Älvasjö en zijn met de trein naar Stockholm gegaan, dat was echt super.
