We went on the Stockholm Ghost Walk - Gamla Stan and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Chris, the one with the ginger beard, was an amazing guide; he was very entertaining, funny, knowledgeable and captured the spooky energy of this dark history/haunted tour. It was also great learning more about the sites that we had walked past or photographed during the day. We are very happy we booked this tour!

Having done many of these before, I have learned it's not so much the location, or history that makes it fun, It's whether the guide can be entertaining, and deliver it. Chris did a great job of this, and old Stockholm is a great location for the evening walk. Learned some things, overall a great time.

This ended up being an enjoyable experience, albeit with a bumpy start. Our start time came and went, with no contact from anyone. As it turned out, Calum our guide was a no show, and Chris our new guide was tagged in. Communication again was poor, with someone taking a phone call and explaining to others what was happening. Fair play to Chris he turned up and did a great job! But we stood there for 20+ minutes waiting. I would have expected a follow up from the company acknowledging, and apologising for the inconvenience. This has not happened to date. I’d also echo others experience that the group is too large for a single guide, and as such the tour is expensive for the price. Good fun, but not a ‘don’t miss it’ in my opinion.

Reece was an amazing Tourguide. The Tour was funny, interesting and just the right amount of scary. I think everyone on the tour was having an amazing time. There were Families with children and also Solo-Travelers like me and Groups of adults and i think it was an amazing experience for all of us. Thank you for an amazing first evening in Stockholm.

5/5 – Funny, frightening, and full of history The Stockholm Ghost Walk in Gamla Stan was a fantastic experience. You explore the city while learning a great deal about Stockholm’s history through bloody stories, dark legends, and plenty of humour. There is only one guide per tour, so you do not have to worry about cheap jump scares around every corner. Instead, the ghostly atmosphere is created in a much subtler and more effective way — through the guide’s voice, close interaction, timing, and many other theatrical elements. Our guide, Reece, did a brilliant job. He was entertaining, charismatic, and highly skilled at building suspense. I really hope you have recovered from the plague, buddy — you certainly did not sound well in that alley back then! 😉 The only minor downside was the size of the group. We sometimes had to wait for everyone to catch up, which affected the pacing and atmosphere slightly. A smaller group would give Reese and the other guides even more room to use their skills effectively. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. Five stars!

Dit is een echte aanrader! Zeer leuke manier om Gamla Stan/Stockholm op een andere manier te ontdekken. Callum ging helemaal op in zijn rol en is in mijn ogen geboren voor dit. Van begin tot einde heeft hij je mee in zijn verhalen. Het was een mooie balans tussen grappig maar ook wel griezelig, zeker op het einde.
