Stigbergets is one of Swedens best breweries. They offer a tour, presentation and tasting. Ours, superbly hosted over 2 hours by Gabby & Maggie, was held at their smaller, older Ringön site on Stälverksgatan, where they pilot production and make small batches. The site also has a spacious taproom where you can expect to sample Stigbergets brews in peak condition, notably their Freshcoast IPA, a variant of their best selling Westcoast IPA. Food is available. Gabby and Maggie's tour and presentation was lively and engaging. We sampled their Pilsner, Freshcoast, a new hazy IPA called 3headed Cod, their excellent Goodness Stout, a blackcurrant sour and a very strong and tasty Bourbon Porter. The range sampled represents their art well. The event was delightful, also for the company of the other guests. Strongly recommended, but remember, not to autopilot to their main Brewery site nearly 1km distant.
