Not good vibes. Especially coming after a long hike and having had the pleasant experience of other huts, this felt totally off. We arrived at 8am having hiked for a few hours trying to avoid rain later in the day and we could only book beds from 4pm. No way to reserve, we had to physically be there at 4 pm sharp to get a bed. The receptionist was very quick to explain that backpacks aren't allowed inside but wouldn't bother to tell us that sauna had to be booked in advance. Sadly for us, sauna was fully booked by 4pm. The dinner was a particularly bizarre experience. You have to book a slot, once you arrive you're are seated at a table set up for fine dining. The staff working at the restaurant were lovely and the food was good. But extremely expensive and simply doesn't fit the context, would be so much more natural eating together with other guests so we can catch up on hikes and experiences. We finished the dinner as quickly as we could to end the awkward experience.
