Me and my partner arrived to Farosund on the last days of summer, wanting to explore Faro. We've originally booked another accommodation nearby, but once we got there it turned out to be a scam. After traveling nearly an entire day, we've searched for the original accommodation during a very windy night in the dark in a completely new place. We couldn't even get in contact with the host via messages nor phone. That's when we've walked to Farosund Vandrarhem seeing no other option, while ofcourse trying to get in touch with booking.com. While we haven't found an open reception, we did find an emergency number. Shortly we were on the phone with the host form Farosund Vandrarhem. They were extremely nice even though it was the middle of the night and helped us immediately to a room. The next day we've decided to stay there for our entire vacation as everything about the place was perfect and every day we could taste their freshly made breakfasts. They've also made bike rental extremely simple for us which we've used to cycle around Faro. So all in all I'm extremely grateful as they've not only saved our vacation but also welcomed us warmly and helped with our every possible need. I really do hope to be back one day and I couldn't recommend them enough.
