I stayed at this place for 3 whole nights. It was very quiet. I took a walk with my dog in the beautiful surroundings. It was very sunny and it reminded me of Italy in a way. I also went up the small hill for a lovely view of the landscape. The sunset was amazing! I visited Alingsås, a very nice little town with old houses and lots of unique shops and restaurants. I ate ice cream and a bubble waffle at the ice cream café at the square. I'm interested in horses so I enjoyed seeing a lot of them around and went to visit a special store with western clothing called El Bastardo in another small town. At the same trip I visited Magnolia café that has a lot of flowers. I tried the cookies at famous Nolbygård Ekocafé and visited the store nextdoor that sells things for old buildings. But the best of all was the visit to castle Nolhaga and the park around and walking "Kongo" that is a path in the forest. There was also a tower for a view and a disc golf course. Very nice beach a Mjörn too, even if I didn't take a swim. Would very much recommend Alingsås for a visit. I will definitely be back for a new visit to this place.
