Leider habe ich mit Sparta Cykel wiederholt schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Mein Eindruck ist, dass sehr stark der finanzielle Aspekt im Vordergrund steht. Beispielsweise werden einfache Werkzeuge für eine kleinen Handgriff nicht kurz ausgeliehen. Auch die Preise für Montagen empfinde ich als deutlich überzogen. Was mir besonders fehlt, ist das Gefühl eines freundlichen Fahrradladens in der Nachbarschaft, bei dem man sich auch bei einer Kleinigkeit unkompliziert und kundenorientiert unterstützt. Genau diese Hilfsbereitschaft und Nähe habe ich dort leider nicht erlebt.

My experience with AFB has been incredibly disappointing, especially in their handling of move-out charges and their aggressive pursuit of unjustified fees. After living in one of their properties, I was shocked to receive an invoice for "floor damage" (above 10K SEK) that, upon closer inspection, appears to be natural wear and tear expected over time. Instead of acknowledging this, AFB has repeatedly insisted that the damage is my responsibility, despite Swedish rental laws clearly stating tenants aren't liable for standard wear. What’s even worse is their insistence on pursuing these charges without providing sufficient evidence, only sending zoomed-in photos that don’t support their claims. They have now escalated the issue to a collections agency, putting more stress on tenants who have been responsible and fair. AFB's aggressive approach and unwillingness to engage in a fair dialogue feel unfair and misleading. I would not recommend renting from them, as they seem focused on pushing baseless charges onto tenants.

During the time I lived there AF bostader decided to raise the rent in order to give their CEO a bigger paycheck, because 1,6 million SEK a year just wasn’t enough I guess. Poor maintenance and upkeep of the premises. Very “spartan” as the name implies. Staff was unaccommodating and not helpful unless it was doing the bare minimum. Rats were a common sight in the courtyard. Avoid unless you can’t find any other place to live.
