BLUFF KLINIK! Bokar en vanlig tandundersökning som kostar 1.445kr. Efter undersökningen när jag ska betala så är summan plötsligt 3.340kr!!! De har då lagt till något som heter ”Beteendemedicinsk behandling 1.895kr” på kvittot och menar på att det är för att ha förklarat hur man använder tandtråd! Jag har bara bett om en undersökning men ändå tvingar dom mig att betala för annat med!! Aldrig mer Smile.

Subject: This Complaint Regarding Dental Treatment and Insurance Handling is connected to my previous review about Smile Tandvård at Drottninggatan 29 i Örebro that I did in the beginning of the treatment.
With that said - This is quite a complicated matter, I must say. First of all, I want to acknowledge that Monica, who performed the root canal treatment, did an excellent job afterwards. However, when looking at the X-rays, even a layperson can see that at least one of the two teeth in the left jaw appeared clean and healthy, yet it was treated unnecessarily, which in both cases led to root canal treatments. The total cost of this exceeded 20,000 SEK or more, if I recall correctly.
Even though the dentist later admitted that something might have gone wrong, I was not compensated by Smile Dental’s insurance company, Svedea. They claimed that an unnamed dentist—whose clinic they could not disclose due to “confidentiality”—had reviewed the case and found no fault in the treatment.
As a result, I endured several months of severe tooth pain caused by the procedures. From the very day after the fillings were done, it became clear that the drilling had penetrated the pulp and they still couldn’t find the the cause of the pain, which caused me extreme and constant pain from day one in both teeth—one upper and one lower in the left jaw—ultimately leading to root canal treatment in both cases.
I find both the treatment I received and the way this case was handled by the insurance company deeply unsatisfactory, and I believe proper compensation is warranted.
